BHRT Program
Below you will find the step-by-step process for our BHRT program and how we manage each step in your journey in order to maximize your appointment times in the clinic. Please read carefully and feel free to reach out for any questions.
Program Information

Once you have reached out about an appointment you will be provided with a link to provide payment for the consult fee. This payment is required in order to move forward with the remainder of the process. The initial consultation is scheduled in the clinic and will be booked for 60 minutes. The consultation will cover all intake forms, health history, a brief physical examination, review of the bloodwork and initial prescription for BHRT.
A 4 week follow up appointment is also included in this initial fee.
The initial consultation fee is $495+hst.

Once the initial consult fee has been paid and processed, you will receive our comprehensive intake forms. These forms need to be filled out in their entirety and email back before we can proceed to the next step.

Once your comprehensive intake forms are received, you will be emailed a requisition to have your blood work done. Instructions for blood work will be included in the email.

Once we have received your blood work results, we can schedule your in-person consultation. This consultation is booked for 60 minutes and will include the information provided above.
Your prescription for BHRT will be faxed to Trutina Compounding Pharmacy and they will connect with you, by phone, within 24 hrs to confirm your shipment and payment details.
- Trutina ships Canada wide at no charge to the patient
- Trutina will provide you with a detailed receipt that can be submitted to your insurance provider. You will receive both an email and paper copy for your records.
- A 4 week follow up appointment will be scheduled following the consultation and your BHRT dosing may be adjusted at this time

After your 4 week follow up appointment, you will schedule routine follow up appointments every 3 months for the first year, then every 6 months for the second year, and then annually.
- Your blood work is required to be completed one week before each follow up appointment and you will be emailed a blood work requisition. -
The fee for follow up appointments is $200+hst
